FCL

Senator Transglobal provides both Full Container Load (FCL) and Less than Container Loads (LCL) for both deep and short sea shipping. FCL Ensures the availability of equipment whenever and wherever you need to ship a complete container of cargo.

Route Options:

  • Port to Port
  • Port to Door
  • Door to Port
  • Door to Door

FCL container shipment tends to have lower freight rates than an equivalent weight of cargo in bulk. It is intended to designate a container loaded to its allowable maximum weight or volume, but FCL in practice on ocean freight does not always mean a full payload or capacity – many companies will prefer to keep a ‘mostly’ full container as a single container load to simplify logistics and increase security compared to sharing a container with other goods.

  • FCL – an abbreviation for “Full Container Load”
  • A full container-load shipment is when a shipper contracts for the transportation of an entire container

How FCL Shipping Can Benefit Your Company

There are several advantages to shipping qualifying cargo under FCL methods:

  • When shipping a FCL load, you get complete control over your cargo.
  • You have the ability to pick up and drop off your cargo directly from the warehouse where the containers are loaded and unloaded. As such, you’re not relying on a middle man to ensure your cargo finds its way to its final destination.
  • The actual time in transit of your cargo can be faster compared to an LCL.
  • Moreover, FCL ensures a proper chain of delivery from end-to-end and is best suited for enteprises transporting expensive merchandise, equipments or goods which are required for retail and supply chain.
